Our client, a leading consultancy in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Planner to join their team on a contract basis in Derby.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing, maintaining and updating project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6
* Collaborating with project teams to ensure schedules are met and projects are delivered on time
* Conducting regular progress reviews and providing updates on project timelines
* Identifying potential schedule risks and developing mitigation plans
* Communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
* Providing detailed reports and presentations on project status
Job Requirements:
* Experience in planning within the defence or nuclear sectors
* Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6
* Strong team collaboration and communication skills
* Security clearance (SC) or having held SC previously
* Ability to work part-time, 2-3 days per week, in Derby
* Availability to start xsngvjr from June onwards
Contract Details:
* 6-month initial contract with potential for renewal
* Market rate - hourly, umbrella (Inside IR35)
