The position will be based in the Metal Department, within a team of people who manufacture high quality products for our customers. The role will be operating CNC punch machines. No previous experience is needed, full training from start to finish. Responsibilities ➢ Operating Machinery ➢ Setting Machinery ➢ Handling metal material ➢ Meeting specific departmental & company targets ➢ Checking and testing manufactured products ➢ Follow systems / procedures within the department, including Health & Safety regulations, Housekeeping, Work Instructions, 5S & Quality. Skills, Experience & Person Specification ➢ Computer literate & basic mathematics ➢ Ability to work as part of a team. ➢ Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy ➢ Experience using similar machinery preferable. ➢ Understanding mechanical drawings / artwork preferable ➢ Full training will be given. Job Specification ➢ Hours are 06.00 – 14.30 (training will be provided from 8am till 16.30). ➢ Leave one hour earlier than your contracted finish time every Friday (will be paid) ➢ 24 days holiday, in addition to bank holidays, increasing with the years of service.
