Team & Service
This post is an integral part of the Family Mental Health Team (FMHT), a CAMHS provision within the Child and Family Unit at NLFT. The role involves being part of the FMHT, offering clinical and line management supervision for junior members of staff, including qualified Systemic Family Therapists (SFT), Systemic Family Practitioner (Recruit to Train) trainees, and MA SFT students on placement.
Responsibilities
* Offer clinical and line management supervision for junior members of staff.
* Provide consultation to colleagues and network.
* Attend referrals meetings and support junior clinicians with intake work.
* Provide direct clinical input to children, young people and their parents/carers, managing high‑risk and complex cases within a multi‑agency environment.
* Serve as a senior clinician, working alongside other senior staff and contributing to the team’s development.
* Lead the systemic discipline within the team, overseeing allocation of systemic family therapy cases to M6 clinics.
* Assist in developing leadership and strategic skills with support from senior colleagues.
