Service: Parks and Streetscene Development Location: Hybrid Contract: Fixed-term (maternity cover) We re looking for a Greenspace Officer to help communities across Salford enjoy, understand and care for their local environment. You ll work with residents, schools, volunteers and partners to coordinate activities, support community groups, promote events and help people connect with nature. The role is people-focused, with an emphasis on planning, engagement, communication and partnership working. You ll also support monitoring, report writing, evaluation and benchmarking to help us understand the impact of our work. We re looking for someone who: Has experience of community engagement or environmental programmes. Can build strong relationships and support volunteers and groups. Is organised, confident with admin and able to produce clear reports. Has knowledge of the natural environment and good communication skills. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months salary payments at a rate of 12.38 per month.
