Technical Consultant
Location: Cheltenham (Hybrid – approx. 3 days on-site)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + benefits

Our client, a leading IT services organisation, is establishing a new office in Cheltenham and is hiring a Technical Consultant to support the delivery of high-quality technical services. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with a strong vision, taking on deeper technical responsibility as the new office and team continue to grow.
What you’ll do
Deliver 2nd and 3rd line technical support to a range of users and customers.
Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues across hardware, software and networking.
Work closely with stakeholders to assess technical requirements and provide effective solutions.
Support project delivery, including upgrades, migrations, deployments and on-site consultancy.
Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous service improvement.
You’ll collaborate with infrastructure, service management and technical delivery teams to provide high-quality consultancy and support across the organisation.
What we’re looking for
Strong 2nd and 3rd line technical experience across Windows environments, networks, servers, admin tools and troubleshooting.
Experience working directly with customers or internal stakeholders in a consultancy-focused capacity.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues with a methodical and customer-focused approach.
Familiarity with ITIL, ticketing systems and structured support processes.
Comfortable working in a hybrid role, spending three days per week in the Cheltenham office.
