The Post
Wokingham are an aspirational authority looking to move to Good and support the local area with exceptional social care in challenging times.
They are recruiting for a number of social work vacancies from AYSE to experience senior practitioners. We have vacancies in a range of the teams allowing us to discuss career progression and specific areas of interest with you.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills to a high standard. They will need to be IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word. The ability to use and maintain a database is a desirable aspect of this post.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, planning and administrative skills to a high standard, alongside being able to plan your workload in order to meet strict deadlines and work collaboratively with team members.
You will need:
* • A professional Social Work qualification
* • HCPC registration
* • Experience of working with children, young people and families
* • Sound knowledge of relevant childcare legislation, including a clear understanding of ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’.
* • An ability to build effective relationships with children, young people and families.
