Role: Electronic Engineer
Location: Chesterfield Area | Hybrid Working From Home
Salary: Up to £50,000
We’re excited to be recruiting for an Electronic Engineer to join a growing, multidisciplinary engineering team developing cutting-edge bespoke electronic systems.
Our client is a leader in designing and manufacturing complex electronic solutions, seamlessly integrating custom-designed hardware with off-the-shelf components.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be involved across the entire product development lifecycle — from initial concept and circuit design through to PCB layout, testing, and fault diagnosis. You’ll collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers and report directly to the Design Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and layout of multilayer PCBs
* Digital and analogue circuit design
* Creation and maintenance of schematic diagrams
* Testing, validation, and fault-finding of electronic systems
* Designing for manufacture to ensure efficient production
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Proficiency with Altium Designer
* Experience in microcontroller development (ARM, PIC, TI, etc.)
* Background in test equipment, automation, or control systems design
