IT Service Manager

As technology underpins our business, our IT Service Manager is key to the successful operation of our IT estate by providing expert technical advice, responding quickly to issues and leading a small team of dedicated support specialists to find smart solutions to business challenges.

Our IT Service Manager will:
* Have responsibility for the day to day management of the IT Support Team
* Ensure at all times the availability and performance of our ERP system and other critical business systems
* Maintain and build upon the relationship with our IT Managed Service Provider and other strategic suppliers
* Be the owner for delivery of all IT infrastructure change projects
* Actively contribute to the strategic and tactical direction for IT services and infrastructure
* Develop and implement IT and Cyber security processes to ensure the business is secure, resilient and maintains compliance against standards and regulations
* Continually drive a great end user experience
Our IT Service Manager will bring:
* A minimum of 2 years management experience
* Prior experience in a technical user-facing IT position
* An ITIL Certification
* Experience of working with current Microsoft Windows operating systems, both Desktop and Server
* Experience of Microsoft 365, Central ID/Active Directory, Azure, Intune and Teams administration alongside other Microsoft products
* Experience of managing Cyber Security to achieve best practice
* A positive approach and self-motivation - keen to work in a player-coach capacity
* Strong communication skills and be able to select the most appropriate methods of communication
* Ability to share technical knowledge with non-technical colleagues
