The Role
Job Description
* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports with accuracy.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure effective cost control.
* Analyse financial performance and provide insightful recommendations to stakeholders.
* Maintain and reconcile balance sheets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
* Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
* Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.
* Implement and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
* Collaborate with various departments to support business planning and strategy.
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations and flag risks/opportunities
* Report KPIs and identify levers to improve business outcomes.
* Payroll and VAT.

* Qualified accountant with strong month-end experience
* Confident communicator with stakeholder-facing experience
* Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with data
* Commercially aware with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
* Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
* Experience in preparing management accounts and supporting decision-making
