About the Role:
As the Performance and Data Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the council's reporting responsibilities and driving performance improvements across Customer Services. Your insights and recommendations will directly support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and delivery of performance reports and business intelligence to support excellent customer service.
* Analyse business performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
* Develop business cases and proposals to support service enhancements and change initiatives.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data-driven strategies that reduce unnecessary customer interactions and promote channel shift.
* Provide financial impact analysis and advise on performance improvement measures aligned with strategic outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in performance management, data analysis, and reporting within a customer service or public sector environment.
* Strong understanding of commercial factors affecting service delivery and customer interaction channels.
* Skilled in financial planning, cost-benefit analysis, and interpreting KPIs.
* Ability to extract actionable insights from complex data sets and communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences.
* Experience supporting business change initiatives and service transformation.
