Job Description
Our well established client based on the outskirts of Manchester is seeking a Finance/Office Manager \n\nMust be competent with the following \n\n Finance Management \n\n - Prepare accurate monthly management accounts (advantage)\n\n - Work closely with the external accountant on monthly management accounts. \n\n - Develop and manage short- and long-term cashflow forecasts and annual budgets. \n\n - Create and deliver new weekly and monthly financial reports.
\n\n - Manage Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger duties. \n\n - Perform credit control activities. \n\n - Complete general ledger journal postings.
\n\n - Raise, match, and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy prior to payment. \n\n - Process payroll for approximately 20 staff, including related submissions (P45, P60, P11D). \n\n - Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve finance-related queries.
\n\n - Conduct bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations. \n\n - Produce accounts up to trial balance. \n\n - Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
\n\n - Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders (HMRC, Local Council, The \n\n Pensions Regulator, etc.). \n\n - Lead month-end and year-end closing processes. \n\n - Recommend improvements to internal bookkeeping processes.
