Production & Maintenance Operative
Location: Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Salary: £35,492.60 per annum + Performance Bonus up to £7,094
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Production & Maintenance Operative to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with production, manufacturing, or engineering experience who is looking for a stable career with excellent training and progression opportunities.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure production processes run safely and efficiently while contributing to continuous improvements across the site.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor a range of manufacturing and production equipment.

Carry out daily production duties, including loading, dispatch, labelling, and housekeeping.

Perform basic maintenance tasks and assist with equipment repairs.
*
Complete production records and operational reports accurately.
*
Identify and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
*
Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures to maintain high workplace standards.
*
Support team members to achieve production targets and business objectives.
About You
The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, engineering, or industrial environment.

A practical, hands-on approach to work.

Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
