Sales Coordinator
A growing business based in Shefford is seeking a skilled Sales Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This proactive, hands‑on role will manage everything from processing customer inquiries and generating quotes to following up with expert negotiation skills to secure profitable orders.
Responsibilities
* Process inbound customer inquiries from both existing and new clients to generate accurate sales orders and quotations.
* Proactively and assertively follow up on all inquiries and quotes using phone calls, email, and WhatsApp to maximise sales conversion.
* Apply commercial awareness to understand product pricing structures and expertly negotiate pricing with customers to secure orders and optimise profit margins.
* Conduct outbound engagement with current customers to nurture relationships, assess future purchasing needs, and drive account growth.
* Initiate outbound communication with potential new customers to develop new relationships and generate new sales opportunities and market growth.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Proactive, proven sales approach with a strong desire and ability to win and grow both existing and new business.
* Excellent negotiation, influencing and account management skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships, ensuring repeat business and generating new leads.
* Personable with natural phone conversation skills across all professional levels.
* Proficient and fast‑paced with IT and CRM systems.
This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30. Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum plus free on‑site parking, 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, career progression opportunities and a supportive team environment.
