We are seeking an experiencedAccounts Assistantto support the Group Financial Controller in the day-to-day running of accounting operations, to ensure financial records are accurate, transactions are processed on time, and reports are prepared to assist decision-making. Working from home, with in person meetings as required. The Role Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner Preparing and processing payment runs Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries Processing customer invoices Monitoring customer accounts to identify outstanding debts and chase overdue invoices Processing payments and receipts and preparing bank reconciliations Assist with outsourced payroll processing Assist with VAT reconciliations and preparation of VAT returns Support month-end and year-end financial reporting including balance sheet reconciliations Liaise with external accountants and auditors as required Provide general administrative support to the finance and operations teams Requirements Experience working with financial systems Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders High level of accuracy and attention to detail
