An excellent opportunity exists to work within the Employee Relations Team providing advice and support to managers on issues such as discipline, grievance, performance management, job evaluation, absence management and conditions of service. You will be required to undertake fact-finding investigations for disciplinary cases and report their findings.

This is a part-time post; hours per week, Monday to Friday temporary until 31 March 2026. Remote/ Hybrid options will be considered for this post and we will do our best to find the right fit for the successful applicant, although some presence in the office (and wider Argyll and Bute area, from time to time) will be required.

Providing advice and support to relevant line managers and employees through the HR Adviceline, particularly on employee relations issues such as discipline, grievance, performance management, job evaluation, pay and reward, absence management and conditions of service.

Assisting with the provision of coaching and/or mentoring sessions to managers covering Employee Relations policies and procedures.

Assisting with the review and development of Employee Relations policies and procedures by conducting research into best practice and collating benchmarking data from other organisations.
