IT Support Engineer - Onsite | 5-Week Contract | £170-£180/day Holiday Pay Location: St James's, London SW1Y Duration: July 21 - August 26 (ASAP Start) Schedule: 5 days per week, office-based A leading organisation is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer for a 5-week onsite contract. The role combines day-to-day service desk responsibilities with high-level VIP support. The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced, professional environment, supporting senior executives and maintaining critical IT systems. Key Responsibilities: Service Desk Support: Manage incidents and service requests from creation to resolution Prioritise, assign, and escalate tickets in line with SLAs Collaborate with 1st Line and backend support teams for troubleshooting Communicate clear, user-friendly updates to end-users Accurately log all calls and issues in the service management system Use knowledge bases to support a wide range of applications and services VIP and Desk-Side Support: Provide onsite and remote support to executives and senior stakeholders Support approx. 50 users at the London head office Assist with international conference calls, board meetings, and AV setups Manage onboarding equipment (laptops, desktops, mobile phones) Maintain meeting room technology and vendor support contracts Oversee the desk booking system Required Skills and Experience: Crestron MTR video conferencing systems Dell laptops, Apple iPhones/iPads, Android (Samsung) Office 365 Suite and Admin Portal ManageEngine Service Desk & Endpoint Central Network troubleshooting and diagnostics VPN clients, AirWatch MDM, PingOne 2FA, 8x8 Telephone This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled support engineer looking for an immediate start in a professional and high-profile environment.
