What you will do:
* Manage a caseload of adolescents with complex safeguarding needs, completing timely assessments, plans, and reviews in line with statutory guidance.
* Undertake child protection enquiries and contextual safeguarding assessments.
* Work directly with young people at risk of criminal or sexual exploitation, providing them with the support they need.
* Develop and implement outcome-focused Child in Need, Child Protection, and care planning interventions.
* Ensure that the voices of young people are at the heart of decision‑making processes.
* Collaborate effectively with families, schools, police, health, Youth Justice, Missing, and Edge of Care services to deliver coordinated multi‑agency responses.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
* Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work (BA, MA, DipSW, or equivalent).
Registration & Compliance:
* Current registration with Social Work England.
* Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
* Thorough understanding of the Children Act 1989/2004 and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
