Job Description
The Finance Assistant role will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable functions for Ethical Property and The Social Justice and Human Rights Centre, and providing support for accounts payable.
The Finance Assistant will report to the Finance Manager.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
1. Management of tenant deposits, including processing refunds.
2. Management of the ledger, including allocation of receipts and customer statements.
3. Support and cover for the Credit Controller, working to resolve outstanding debt in a timely manner.
4. Provide debtor reports to the Finance Manager, relevant Centre Manager, and Conference Sales Co-ordinator on a monthly basis.
5. Ensure all sales ledger paperwork is scanned and filed.
