IMPACCT is a specialist global event management and live production agency working with some of the world's leading pharmaceutical and life sciences companies. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, compliant and creative events worldwide, we are growing our team and looking for a talented Project Manager to join us.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role and a great opportunity to work alongside some of the best in event management and production within the healthcare sector.

The Role

You will currently be an experienced Event Coordinator ready to step up, or an Event Manager looking to broaden your experience and take on more responsibility.

You'll manage smaller projects end-to-end and support our senior team on larger, complex events. You'll work directly with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders, so strong interpersonal skills, proactivity and a "make it happen" mindset are essential.

You will report directly to a member of our senior team and become an integral part of a busy, collaborative and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

* Research, source and propose event concepts, formats and venues for new and existing projects.
* Manage smaller client events from brief through to delivery and reconciliation.
* Support senior team members in the planning and delivery of larger, high-profile events.
* Prepare budgets, costings and proposals, and present them to clients (following senior sign-off).
* Liaise with and manage suppliers, always negotiating best value for our clients.
* Research and book travel arrangements as required.
* Act as a day-to-day contact for clients and their delegates, supporting all event requirements.
* Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships.
* Create, update and manage project documentation using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Develop your skills to create and manage smaller events in Cvent and other platforms.
* Manage and reconcile event budgets, expense receipts, credit card statements and related project costs.
* Attend client and supplier events, site visits and live projects in the UK and internationally (approx. 8–10 trips per year).
* Manage your own time and timelines to ensure all milestones and deadlines are met.
* Ensure meticulous attention to detail and seamless delivery on every project.

About You

Essential:

* Proven experience in an event agency environment.
* Experience working within healthcare and/or life sciences events
* Track record of managing projects or significant project elements.
* Confident working directly with clients and external stakeholders.
* Highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
* Immaculate attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Good financial acumen – comfortable with budgets, cost control and reconciliation.
* Willing and able to travel in the UK and internationally (approx. 8–10 times a year).
* Self-motivated, proactive and positive, with a genuine passion for events and a commitment to "getting the job done".

Desirable:

* Experience using Cvent or similar event management platforms (or strong willingness to learn).

What We Offer

* Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience).
* Full-time, permanent role with hybrid flexibility for the right candidate.
* Hybrid working: minimum two days per week in our modern central Stevenage office (following successful completion of probation).
* Company pension scheme.
* Life Insurance (Death in Service benefit at 4x salary) after successful completion of probationary period.
* Minimum 25 days' holiday per year plus public holidays.
* Time off in lieu for any weekends and public holidays worked.
* The chance to work in a forward-thinking, vibrant and evolving company with excellent staff retention and a genuine focus on mentoring, development and progression.
