Shift: Part time (30 hours), Monday to Friday, 0600-1200
What we’re looking for...
We are looking for someone reliable and self-motivated to join the small but crucial team at Stroud Depot as a Garage Hand. The Engineering team is responsible for keeping our bus operation running smoothly, 24 hours a day, from vehicle servicing to fuelling and cleaning.
What will I be doing?
1. Fuelling, cleaning and parking buses
2. Cleaning bus interiors and exteriors, including chassis and steam cleaning
3. Garage duties such as cleaning and sweeping our workshop and work bays, cleaning and painting wheels
4. Cleaning welfare facilities including the canteen and toilets
5. Yard maintenance duties such as litter picking, weeding and painting
6. Collecting/delivering parts from local suppliers/depots
What do you need to apply?
7. You will hold a full current car driving license
8. Right to Work in the UK
9. A willingness to learn and be part of a small but crucial team
10. Be able to work both as a team and independently when required
11. Experience operating larger vehicles or equipment would be advantageous, but not required, as training will be provided
