Role Summary
Are you handy, practical, and enjoy helping out in a community setting? Longmead Community Farm is looking for Volunteer Caretakers to help us maintain our buildings, facilities, and grounds. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast or simply keen to lend a hand, we'd love to hear from you
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out basic maintenance and repair tasks (e.g. fixing doors, painting, minor plumbing or carpentry)
· Conduct regular checks of buildings, equipment, and outdoor areas
· Assist with setting up and maintaining communal spaces and facilities
· Support health and safety practices, including identifying and reporting hazards
· Help manage tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
· Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to ensure the site is safe and functional
