Total Engineering & Design Ltd. is a project engineering design and drafting company specialising in delivering detailed engineering design solutions to our clients across a range of engineering disciplines - Mechanical, piping, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation & control.
We deliver these solutions across different global manufacturing industries including chemical, process, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, and man-made fibres.
Job Description:
Produce engineering drawings using CAD packages such as AutoCAD and MicroStation for ongoing and new projects, including flow diagrams, piping arrangements & electrical schematics.
Responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate with project engineers for development of drawings.
* Incorporate best practices from own knowledge and experience, in-house and customer drafting standards.
* Provide a valuable contribution to the project design environment.
* Management of company and client drawings systems.
* Collect information from the customer through documentation, meetings, site surveys and other communications.
* Take part in personal development and company development programmes.
Requirements:
Essential:
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent which must include maths, English and a science-based subject.
Desirable:
* Experience of CAD drafting using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
* Experience working within the Process / Facilities / Manufacturing industry or within a project engineering design environment.
Hours of Work:
This is an office based, full-time post, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
