Interim Accounts Manager – Delabole - £35 - £40k FTE – Temporary (1-2 months) – Full/ Part time
Trial Balance Consulting are pleased to be working with a well established business based in Delabole to recruit an Accounts Manager on a temporary basis for an initial period of one to two months. This is a hands on, sole charge style role and would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of a busy finance function.
The role can be worked on a full or part time basis, with a minimum requirement of three days per week. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance function and supporting the business through a busy period.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full ownership of the general ledger, purchase ledger, and sales ledger
- Managing bank postings and completing regular bank reconciliations
- Processing supplier payments and managing credit control
- Preparing monthly and year end accounts
- Managing payroll and HMRC submissions
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns and pension information
- Handling supplier and customer queries and reconciliations
- Supporting insurance and employee benefit administration
We are seeking an AAT qualified or equivalent finance professional with strong hands on experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Sage is essential, alongside good Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office packages. You will be organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
