Duties & Responsibilities Managing, maintaining, and preparing equipment and workshop environments. Supporting and facilitating practical lessons and student-led projects. Assisting in the delivery of an individualised and innovative learning programme. Promoting safety, inclusion, and high standards in all learning environments. Collaborating closely with academic staff, employers, and student support teams to create a positive and future-ready learning journey. Job Requirements Technical Support: Set up, maintain, and securely store tools, equipment, and materials. Provide first-line maintenance and safety checks. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment. Maintain inventories, manage stock levels, and support ordering processes. Assist in the demonstration of equipment and processes during open events and external showcases. Learning Facilitation: Instruct and supervise students during lessons, workshops, and practical sessions. Deliver elements of study programmes under the guidance of academic staff. Support students with their progress and skill development through one-to-one and group sessions. Promote project-based learning and career-focused experiences aligned with employer needs. Help prepare teaching resources and support both in-person and online delivery. Track student engagement, contribute to assessment processes, and support learner progress. Wider Contribution: Support enrichment activities, college visits, and industry events. Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching and learning.
