We are looking to appoint a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to principally work at CAMHS The Beacon Inpatient Unit, and also to support the CAMHS Crisis Team at times when the number of young people occupying inpatient beds is below capacity. The Beacon Inpatient CAMHS Unit is a 15-bedded facility based at the Bradgate Hospital site at Leicester Glenfield Hospital on the north side of Leicester. Responsibilities
* To undertake detailed & highly specialist psychological and systemic assessments of children and families. This will involve face to face contact with young people and families.
* To be responsible for offering Systemic Psychotherapy, utilising a range of systemic interventions to individuals and their families.
* The provision of highly specialist one-to-one clinical consultations to other clinical staff, contributing directly to the formulation, diagnosis and intervention plans.
Qualifications and Experience
* You will be an experienced and qualified Family and Systemic Psychotherapist with current UKCP registration and have experience of working with complex mental health needs in both inpatient and community services. Ideally, you will have experience working with children and young people.
* You will be joining a vibrant professional group of nine Family and Systemic Psychotherapists who work across a range of outpatient teams. Systemic Supervision will be provided and in addition you will be able to join a family therapy clinic, working with another Family and Systemic Psychotherapist.
