We are seeking a highly organised andproactive Patient Coordination Administrator to support the smooth operation ofour patient services. This role focuses on managing and improving our patientrecall system, ensuring timely communication, continuity of care, and highlevels of patient engagement. The successful candidate will be a key linkbetween patients and the practice, helping to maintain accurate records,optimize scheduling, and support overall patient satisfaction.
Main duties of the job
Proactivelymanage the patient recall system, ensuring that patients are contacted andscheduled for routine follow-ups, check-ups, and necessary treatments.
Maintainaccurate and up-to-date patient records, tracking recall dates, and ensuringtimely reminders are sent via phone, email, SMS, or post.
Workclosely with clinical staff to coordinate appointment availability, ensuringefficient scheduling and minimal delays in patient care.
Monitorrecall compliance rates, identifying gaps or patterns, and taking steps toimprove attendance and patient engagement.
Developand implement communication strategies to encourage patients to attendappointments and maintain ongoing care.
Provideexcellent customer service by responding to patient queries promptly andprofessionally.
Generatereports on recall system effectiveness, patient attendance, and other keyperformance indicators for management review.
Support the wider administrative team with generalduties (e.g. email monitoring and call answering), and general office taskswhen required

Experience
* Minimum 1 year experience in General Practice or Primary Care
* Experience of SystmOne
* Experience of operating patient recall systems
* Experience of coding patient records
* Involvement in audits or service development
* Experience of using Accurx
Qualifications
* English and Maths GCSE Grade C or Above
* Medical Terminology
* Medical summarising
