We’re recruiting Cover Supervisors for primary and secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent to support with day-to-day and short-term absences. Whether you’re a graduate, experienced Cover Supervisor, or someone with transferable experience working with young people – this could be the ideal role for you.
The Role:
* Supervising and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive, productive learning environment
* Supporting pupils with tasks, maintaining classroom routines and ensuring safeguarding policies are followed
* Working across a variety of subjects or year groups, depending on the school and age phase
Who We’re Looking For:
* Confident and reliable individuals with strong communication skills
* Previous school-based experience or experience working with children or young people in other settings
* Good classroom management and the ability to engage learners of all ages
* Comfortable working flexibly across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
