Responsibilities Operate refuse collection vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Collect waste materials from designated areas and transport them to disposal sites. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations during waste collection and disposal. Perform routine checks and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate collection routes and schedules. Report any issues or incidents encountered during collection to the appropriate personnel. Assist in the training of new drivers as needed. Requirements Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a driver, preferably in refuse collection or a similar field. Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to waste management. Ability to operate heavy vehicles and perform routine vehicle maintenance. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High level of physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the job.
