The role also supports radiation safety and IR(ME)R compliance, including coordination of radiation incidents and oversight of non‑medical referrer processes.

The post holder will contribute to service improvement by supporting audit, risk management, and the handling of patient feedback, complaints, and PALS enquiries. Use of data and trends across sites will help target improvement activity and strengthen assurance.

The role involves working with a wide range of colleagues, including radiographers, radiologists, medical physics, and governance teams, to support consistent and patient‑centred care.
