We are looking for someone to provide admin and marketing support for the commercial activities of The Cornerstone and All Saints Church, as part of the overall objective of serving the community and developing both venues. Part time: 15 hours per week, 9.00 -12.00 Monday - Friday Key Responsibilities 1. Marketing The Cornerstone and church facilities, including social media and website, interacting with customers and initiating new ways of promoting our services. 2. Receptionist activities in The Cornerstone foyer, assisting with enquiries from the public. 3. Providing admin support such as entering bookings into the booking system, contacting hirers, photocopying, filing. Skills Required • A good team-worker, comfortable working with colleagues and the public • Confident using social media and aware of the pitfalls. • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about marketing • Able to think creatively, take the initiative and move things forward with a “can do” attitude • Good attention to detail Applicants are expected to be in sympathy with, and supportive of, the Christian ethos and the ministry of the Church. DBS clearance is required: The Church of England is committed to promoting a safe environment and culture for children, young people and vulnerable adults. The individual appointed to this role will be expected to work within the policy and procedures of the relevant safeguarding policies and attend all required safeguarding training.
