Responsibilities
* Edit standout short‑form and long‑form video content optimised for social (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
* Craft fast‑paced, visually rich edits using kinetic text, memes, archival footage, and mixed media
* Collaborate with producers, writers, and on‑screen talent to shape strong visual narratives
* Enhance stories with music, sound design, and motion graphics—ensuring a premium finish
* Help define the visual identity of new vertical brands, working closely with design and animation teams
* Maintain fast turnarounds without sacrificing quality—adapting quickly to news moments and viral trends
* Stay on top of editing trends, platform shifts, and performance data to continuously optimise content
This is a hybrid creative‑technical role ideal for someone with fast instincts, strong editorial judgement, and deep platform fluency. You’ll play a central role in shaping our most important output—editing stories that break through the noise across verticals including news, showbiz, money, health, and travel.
Qualifications
* 3‑5+ years of editing experience in a digital media or social‑first content environment
* Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro; proficiency in After Effects, CapCut, or similar motion tools a plus
* Deep understanding of what performs on social—from hook to final frame
* Strong editorial instincts, with experience across multiple content genres (news, showbiz, creator‑led)
* Fast, flexible, and collaborative—able to work under pressure and iterate quickly with feedback
* Clear grasp of storytelling through text, voiceover, music, and visual rhythm
