About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your role will be to maintain classroom order, ensure pupils remain on task, and promote a positive learning environment in line with school policies. Key Responsibilities: Supervise whole classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-planned lessons. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils stay focused and engaged. Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and classroom activity. Support students in their learning and promote a respectful, inclusive atmosphere. Step into different subject areas as needed across the school day. Requirements: Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting is desirable. Strong classroom presence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confident, adaptable, and calm under pressure. A genuine interest in education and student development.
