 
        
        Role Overview
Transforming customer requirements into lower level system architectures (Physical and Functional) and system requirements. The role covers the majority of the Systems Engineering V model, negotiating requirements with the missile systems customer through to the verification and validation process. You will gain a detailed understanding of RF Seeker design and build experience working with capable teams across all development activities.
Opportunities for travel both within the UK and internationally to other MBDA sites and trial locations are available.
Key Responsibilities
The role covers the majority of the Systems Engineering V model, negotiating requirements with the missile systems customer through to the verification and validation process and ensuring the integration of technical architecture into flight and seeker systems.
Key Qualifications
 * Experience with deriving and managing requirements
 * Experience with generating Functional and Physical Architecture using SysML, ARCADIA, or similar MBSE language
 * Experience dissecting and understanding customer requirements and disseminating them down into lower-level subsystem requirements and complex functional architectures
 * Consistent ability to deliver required output within agreed timescales
 * Skill in cultivating strong relationships with colleagues, external departments and customers
 * Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
 * Experience with Systems engineering tools like DOORS / DOORS Next / Rhapsody / Capella desirable
 * Experience with MATLAB and Simulink desirable
 * Knowledge of RF/microwave and electronic systems, radar and control systems, and digital signal processing is desirable

Salary and Location
Salary: Circa £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Stevenage or Bristol (relocation package may be offered).
Security Clearance
British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship, BPSS required.
