Hays are working in partnership with a leading global, multidisciplined engineering and constructionpany to recruit a Graduate Electrical Engineer. This contractor provides a wide range of construction services across infrastructure sectors, including rail, water, power, and natural resources.
Your new role
1. Assist in the design of electrical systems for treatment plants
2. Support the development of cable sizing, layout drawings, and schematics
3. Contribute to the selection and specification of instrumentation
4. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors
5. Participate in site visits andmissioning activities
Technical Exposure
6. Power distribution and low-voltage systems
7. PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and telemetry
8. Electrical safety andpliance
9. Instrumentation and control systems
What you'll need to succeed
10. Degree in Electrical Engineering (or nearingpletion)
11. Interest in automation and control systems
12. Familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit and Microsoft Office
13. Strongmunication and problem-solving skills
14. Full Driving Licence
