Location: Bristol Workshop
Full time – 39.5 hours per week (rotating shift pattern: week 1: 06:00‑14:30, week 2: 07:00‑15:00, week 3: 13:30‑22:00). You will be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays (with a weekday day off).

About the Role
With a fleet of over 49,000 vehicles, including traditional fuel, electric vehicles, LCVs and HGVs, maintaining our vehicles is a true team effort. Reporting to the Fleet Workshop Manager, the Shift Supervisor provides a pivotal support role to the Workshop management team. Your responsibilities include leading operations across a shift in line with production planning and control requirements, deploying agreed processes and staff resources to ensure the Workshop operates safely and delivers high levels of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Deliver Weekly Team Meetings, shift huddles and support remedial approach to conduct issues while ensuring Technicians’ wellbeing.
* Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair procedures on vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment.
* Use personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair of light/heavy goods vehicles.
* Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern workshops.
* Execute effective stock control processes and ensure accurate completion of work orders and vehicle documentation to meet business and legal requirements.
Qualifications
* Experienced leader with a team of vehicle technicians and strong H&S knowledge.
* Fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent) with a personal toolkit for standard repairs.
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician on a wide range of vehicles (LCV/HGV).
* Full manual UK driving licence, preferably HGV with trailer experience.
* High working standards and pride in quality work.
* Flexible shift roster and willingness to support the team.
