The purpose of this role is to be a pivotal part of the Warehouse Management Team and to oversee the ‘Hire Goods in’ Team, whilst working hand in hand with the Warehouse / Asst. Warehouse Manager. The role will provide invaluable support to ensure that the operation delivers exceptional service to its customers, ensuring output meets the requirements of the business. The role requires the incumbent to work flexibly, in a developing environment. In addition, the role may be required to assist, or cover for, other roles within the operation for which full training / support will be given.

Your day will look like:
1. Oversee the Hire Goods In team to ensure all returning rental jobs are accurately scanned back in within 48hrs of the job return.
2. Liaise with Account Handlers/Warehouse Management notifying them of any missing items and seek out the relevant action to take in each case.
3. Maintain the stock system, ensuring any missing/non-returned items are marked accordingly.
4. Ensure the Goods In process is followed for all deliveries entering the warehouse.
5. Oversee Sub_Rental deliveries, ensuring items are received into the warehouse, and returned to suppliers within the agreed timescales
6. Ensure any shipping anomalies are reported to management immediately.
7. Liaise with other Solotech warehouses/goods in on receiving stock and movement between sites.
8. Work with other members of staff to manage movements and logistics for the wider warehouse team.
9. Manage personnel of the Warehouse Hire Goods In team, including reviews, holiday’s, absences, sickness and punctuality, working in liaison with the HR team.
10. Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
11. Maintain warehouse, yard and department tidiness.
Essential skills / experience:
12. At least 3 years experience of working within a similar role .
13. Good administration skills.
14. Excellent communication skills.
15. Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
16. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, ability to use a database software.
17. Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised, whilst recognising when to ask questions.
Advantageous, but not essential:
18. Pro audio industry knowledge / interest
Level of Education:
19. Educated to GCSE level, with A-C in English and Maths (or equivalent)
