Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer 📍 Location: Rochester, Kent 💷 Salary: £57,750 per annum ⏰ Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights) The Role: We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site in Rochester. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site. Key Responsibilities • Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained to optimum operational standards • React quickly to faults and breakdowns using effective fault-finding techniques • Minimise breakdowns through planned preventative maintenance (PPM) • Communicate clearly with production teams to plan downtime and repairs • Maintain stock levels of critical spare parts and service components • Carry out maintenance work safely and in line with health & safety regulations • Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery • Use CMMS to log maintenance activity and diagnostics • Continuously develop technical knowledge through training and best-practice benchmarking Candidate Requirements • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment • Electrical apprenticeship served (City & Guilds, HNC, ONC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent – 18th Edition preferred) &b...
