Job Summary:
We are a dynamic and growing accountancy firm seeking an Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across various industries, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact for accounting and tax matters.
2. Prepare and review year-end accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and management accounts.
3. Ensure all statutory deadlines are met for your client base.
4. Provide proactive advice and support to clients on accounting, tax planning, and general financial matters.
5. Review and oversee work prepared by junior staff, providing guidance and training where necessary.
