About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy finance department and contribute to the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
* Assisting with month-end procedures
* Maintaining accurate financial records
* Supporting the Finance Manager with reporting and analysis
* Handling queries from internal departments and external suppliers
* General administrative duties within the finance team
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
