We are working with a well-established, specialist scaffolding contractor based in East Kilbride who are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator / QS to support their next phase of growth.
This is a key hire for the business, replacing a highly valued team member who is retiring after helping drive significant expansion. The role offers the opportunity to step into a pivotal commercial and operational position within a close-knit, growing company.

This is a broad, hands-on role that combines estimating, commercial management. Key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing detailed and accurate scaffold tenders and cost plans
* Managing variations and valuations of live projects
* Leading bid submissions and pre-qualification processes
* Working closely with the Director to support ongoing project delivery and business growth
* You will be supported by an experienced admin function, allowing you to focus on the technical and commercial aspects of the role.
This role requires scaffolding experience - proven expertise in the sector is essential to ensure a smoot transition from the role incumbent. We are looking for someone who:
* Has strong experience in scaffolding estimating and/or quantity surveying
* Understands the technical and commercial nuances of scaffolding works
* Is comfortable working in a small, fast-paced business environment
* Can operate with a high level of autonomy and take ownership of the role
