We are working closely with a welcoming primary school in Harwich who are seeking a Year 1 Class Teacher for a long‑term, temp‑to‑perm position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is looking to join a supportive school on a long‑term basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role.
The Role:
* Full-time Year 1 class teacher
* Long-term temp to perm position
* Teaching and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
* Planning, assessment, and classroom management
* Working with enthusiastic and well‑supported pupils
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds UK QTS (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
* Confident teaching KS1, ideally Year 1
* Creative, positive, and nurturing approach to teaching
* Reliable and committed, with a desire to become a consistent part of the school team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
