Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pallet Distribution Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced customer service advisor and must be used to working within a fast paced office.
Role and Responsibilities
* Being 'first point of contact' for telephone calls from pallet network members
* Account handling and developing customer relationships to improve customer experience
* Ensure telephone calls are answered promptly and that accurate messages are taken and passed to the appropriate person promptly
* Liaising with drivers on route/on delivery where required
* Ensuring the delivery point and pallet network members are made aware of late deliveries or loading delays where required
* Ensure that all relevant documents are completed as per company standards
* Maintain accurate records
* Ensure compliance to standards in respect of all company requirements
* Comply with all company policies, rules and procedures at all times
Preferred Skills:
* Good written and verbal communication
* Good knowledge of excel
* Experience briefing/de-briefing drivers
* Works well within a team
* Flexibility
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,000.00 per year
