We are seeking a committed, compassionate and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Skelmersdale. This is a rewarding role where you will make a genuine difference every single day.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND
Support students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs
Help pupils access learning in and out of the classroom
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Build strong, trusting relationships with students
Support with personal care when required
What We're Looking For:
Experience in support work, youth work, care work, or relevant personal experience
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Resilience and the ability to remain positive in challenging situations
A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
Willingness to support personal care needs where necessary
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
