The Arcade Operations & Commercial Manager reports to the Head of Retail, managing operator partners, delivering optimisation projects, overseeing reporting and insights, supporting day‑to‑day operations and acting as the main contact for Site teams and Operators.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with Finance, Business Analysts and propositions to analyse performance, set KPIs and track sales and contribution against budget.
* Lead the business across an area of over 30 sites in the UK & Coastal regions.
* Look after operations, space, commercials, people management and site optimisation.
* Drive space and revenue optimisation across parks through machine and category analysis, heat‑map & space planning experience.
* Coordinate cross‑functional delivery of optimisation plans with teams including digital, facilities and site operations.
* Manage operator partner coordination including account support, invoicing, contract administration and business review insights.
* Act as the main contact for site teams and operators, supporting rollout of optimisation initiatives and peak‑season readiness.
* Monitor performance with Business Analyst on new products and implement ongoing machine and category improvements.
* Support H&S and regulatory compliance through audits, risk assessments and licence management.
Key Requirements
* Ideally having 5+ years' experience in retail, hospitality or leisure.
* Have led large teams within multiple sites and demonstrated scaled revenue.
* Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of P&L, sales and margin performance.
* Strong stakeholder experience and ability to manage three parties.
* Experience within slots, amusements, etc. is desirable but not essential.
* Strong sales, customer service and stakeholder management skills, and people‑management experience.
* Keen to travel and stay away once a week, and to travel to head office and plan diary in advance.
* Experience dealing with operations partners, franchises, electronic leisure.
* Understanding of space planning, floor management and sales/data analysis.
