SEND Teaching Assistant – Halifax
Daily Rate: £90–£105/day | Full-Time | Long-Term
We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Halifax supporting children with a range of needs, including autism, speech & language difficulties, and SEMH.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and emotional wellbeing.
* Adapt tasks and use communication tools like Makaton or PECS.
* Support pupils in developing social skills, independence, and confidence.
* Work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and external professionals.
This role would suit an experienced TA, psychology graduate, or care worker looking to move into education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
