TEWV is developing a forward-thinking nursing vision and robust career pathways. As an RMN, you may be responsible for the day-to-day running of the ward.
This post is only open to candidates who already have their NMC registration and have completed the preceptorship programme.
Main duties of the job
As a Staff Nurse on our inpatient units, you will be involved in formulation to discharge planning for patients, within a multidisciplinary team approach. Each ward is equipped with activity and therapeutic spaces to enable timely recovery and safe discharge into the community with support packages.

Qualifications
* Current NMC registration (RNMH or RNLD, RGN if applicable)
* Recognised practice assessor/mentor or working towards it
* Trained Clinical Supervisor (within 6 months)
* CPD evidence
Experience
* Working with mental health/learning disabilities
* Person-centred therapeutic organisation experience
* Collaborative work with service users, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
* Partnership working with other agencies
Knowledge
* Evidence-based knowledge of best practices
* Understanding of legislation (Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act)
* Safeguarding and clinical risk management
* Clinical governance
