## Insurance Escalator Engineer (Heathrow) Mon-Thu NightsSolliciterenlocations: Sloughtime type: Full timeposted on: Vandaag geplaatstjob requisition id: R0659578# **Location:** Heathrow | **KONE** **Hours:** 40 hours – Nights, Monday–Thursday* **Option 1:** 20:00–07:00* **Option 2:** 19:00–06:00* **1 hour lunch** **Holiday:** 20 days + bank holidays## **Role Overview**We are looking for a **VB Escalator Inspector** to join our Heathrow team on a night shift pattern. This role focuses on the inspection, testing, and verification of escalators to ensure they meet KONE safety, quality, and compliance standards.## **Key Responsibilities*** Carry out **VB inspections and testing** on Lifts* Identify defects, wear, and safety risks* Ensure compliance with KONE standards and industry regulations* Complete accurate inspection reports using KONE systems* Work closely with service and repair teams to plan corrective actions* Support safety audits and site procedures* Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safe working## **What We’re Looking For*** Experience working on Escalators in a service/inspection environment* Good technical understanding of escalator components and safety circuits* Ability to follow inspection processes and report clearly* Strong focus on safety and quality* Able to work night shifts Mon–Thu* Full UK driving licence and ability to meet Heathrow clearance## **What We Offer*** 40 hour night shift pattern (Mon–Thu)* 20 days holiday + bank holidays* Pension, life assurance & KONE benefits* Training and development within a global company* Opportunity to work at a flagship airport site**Please note:**This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Bij KONE geloven we dat onze medewerkers de sleutel zijn tot succes.
