About Us: We are a highly successful painting and decorating contractor based in Essex, known for delivering exceptional quality and innovative solutions. Due to our growth, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our team.
Position Overview: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will manage all financial aspects of our projects, liaise with clients, pitch for new business, and work closely with our project management and estimating teams to provide accurate costings, manage budgets, and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and budgets for painting and decorating projects.
* Conduct cost analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
* Monitor project progress and financial performance, addressing variances or issues.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate and finalize contract terms and pricing, while actively pitching for new business opportunities.
* Evaluate contract documents to identify and mitigate potential risks.
