Teaching Assistant - SEMH (Primary)
Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Salary: £90 - £100 per day DOE
Contract: Supply ASAP start follwing paid trial - ongoing role
Join a supportive and forward-thinking school in West Sussex as a Teaching Assistant, dedicated to helping pupils aged 6-11 thrive both academically and personally.
We're looking for a caring and resilient TA to work alongside an experienced team, supporting pupils with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. Every day is different, and as an LSA you'll make a real difference to a child's confidence, progress and wellbeing.

Supporting pupils in class and through small-group or 1:1 TA interventions
Promoting emotional regulation, positive relationships and resilience
Encouraging independence and engagement in learning as a Teaching Assistant
Assisting with behaviour support using restorative and positive approaches
Helping prepare and deliver creative learning activities
Working closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals We're looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting children with SEMH or additional needs (or a genuine passion to learn) in any setting
Brings patience, empathy and a calm, consistent approach
Can build trusting relationships and model positive behaviour
Works well as part of a collaborative, caring team
