We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and highly organised Part‑Time Bookkeeper to manage our daily financial records.
Key qualifications: Hands‑on experience with Sage accounting software is essential. This position offers flexible working hours and is ideal for someone seeking a long‑term commitment. We offer 16 hours across 2 days (or more flexible schedule if necessary).
Key Responsibilities
* Managing all aspects of the purchase ledger and sales ledger.
* Processing invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and promptly using Sage.
* Performing bank reconciliation on a regular basis.
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns (knowledge of MTD highly desirable).
* Processing credit card expenses.
* Assisting with month‑end and year‑end procedures.
* Maintaining an organised system of financial records and documents.
* Mandatory: Demonstrable proficiency with Sage 50 Accounts or similar Sage products. (Candidates without this experience will not be considered).
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
* Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
